On January 9, 2011 I got on the scale and weighed 241. Since I'm 5'9" this told me I had to make a lifestyle change.
At first I started with short walks but did them every day. Then after I continued to walk, I bought a good pedometer and found it is a great motivator.
Now I weigh 176, the same weight as when I married 34 years ago. I am 62 and have more energy now than I have had in years. I enjoy reading about walkers, so keep on going down those trails!
